What is your idea of perfect happiness
Nov. 14th, 2019 01:52 pmMy knee jerk reaction is that myself, Steve & Ryder are healthy, that the mortgage is paid, we have enough money and I don't have to work. I'm slim, we have a house that is newly decorated and furnished, we have a couple of dogs, Steve & I have new cars. I don't have to work and I have enough time to read all the books, go to all the games, and watch all the TV/movies that I want
However I think as people we are always striving for something more, so I don't think perfect happiness is attainable. Also, everything in our lives is subject to forces we have no control over. All it takes is just a brief moment of disequilibrium or interruption and the “perfect happiness” evaporates. Perfect happiness, if at all achievable, is just a very brief moment in time and space. Sadly, it has no permanence.
