Hi, I'm Mack

Hi, my name is Mack. And I’m a chronic over-sharer.

I'm creative and, according to my sisters, a little weird. I like being silly, laughing, and smiling. I enjoy being outdoors and going on adventures. I love teaching, organizing, reading, and learning. When asked to describe myself in three words I say hard-working, fun loving, and self motivated!

I'm a 31 year old, tattooed & pierced British cis het woman living in the US, a dietician, a nutrition and a wellbeing co-ordinator.

I am a little bit in love with all things Stargate SG-1 and especially Daniel Jackson, I ship Jack/Daniel and can spend hours lost in AO3 reading fic.

I love nu-metal, alternative rock, dogs, healthy food, nature, cleanliness, hockey, football, social psychology, biochemistry, tai chi and journaling.

I'm a binge tv-watcher, a walker, a blogger, wannabe knitter, sporadic jewellery maker and occasional thinker!

In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the movies, and laughing at whatever makes me smile. I live with my husband, Steve, and our son Ryder, in Missouri.

Cooking I've always loved to cook. I remember 'helping' my mum as a child, I loved home economics in school, especially the food education side of things. I studied Psychology & Food Nutrition at college and work. I cook from scratch five nights a week

Laughing I love being silly, making my son laugh. I'm always quick to laugh and smile. I'm a pretty happy person and always express myself

Binge TV-watchingIt's a skill I pride myself on. Is there anything better than after Ryder has gone to sleep, curling up on the couch with Steve and hitting play on either Netflix or Prime or a DVD? I don't think so. We're about to start a binge of Stargate SG-1, and I can't wait

Organising I hate mess. I'm big on cleanliness and order, a place for everything and everything in it's place. I'm not OCD but clutter definitely has an impact on my anxiety, and to-do lists calm my mind, give me focus and help me plan my day

Reading One of my favourite ways to spend a few hours is with a slice of cake, a big mug of coffee and a good book. Adventure, fantasy, science-fiction and urban fantasy are my favourite genres. I'm currently re-reading A Game Of Thrones by George R R Martin.
